Women's Waxing Seattle, WA

Most women who book with us for the first time come in for one thing. A Brazilian, usually, or a quick eyebrow tidy. Plenty of them add other services later, once they trust the room and the technique.

What women in Seattle say about waxing with us

★★★★★ "I had a great experience! I've been getting waxed for a year and have tried a couple spots, but this has been my favorite. It's clean, comfortable, and efficient. The soft wax was great also, and I'm someone with sensitive skin so that super important to me. highly recommend!"

Brazilian or bikini? Here is the honest difference

A bikini wax covers everything outside the panty line. It is $40 and it is the right call if you want a clean line for a swimsuit and nothing more.

A Brazilian goes front to back, and you decide how much stays. Some clients want everything gone. Others want a small strip left at the front. Both are a Brazilian, and we ask before we start rather than guessing. You can read more on our Brazilian wax in Seattle page.

Here is our opinion on the Brazilian, and we hold it firmly. Book the maintenance appointment. If you come back within three to five weeks, it is $60 instead of $80, there is less to remove, and it hurts less every time. Wait eight weeks and you are starting from scratch again, at full price, with more to remove.

Why pay more to hurt more?

Our process for a first wax

Our approach is the same whether it is your first Brazilian or your fiftieth eyebrow wax.

You come into the room and we talk for a minute before anything starts. What have you had done before? What went badly? How much do you want taken off? That minute matters more than anything else in the appointment.

Then we work. Most of our appointments use a soft wax infused with tea tree oil and aloe vera. Tea tree calms the follicle after the strip comes off, and aloe takes the heat out of the skin. That is why clients with reactive skin tend to do better here than they expect. Hard wax is there if you ask for it, and for some areas it genuinely is the better choice.

In our experience, first-timers are surprised by two things. How little talking there is once it begins, and how quickly it is over. A first Brazilian runs closer to the full 30 minutes because we go slowly and check in. Regular clients are often out inside 15.

Nervous about the pain?

Fair enough. The first one is uncomfortable, and we will not pretend otherwise. Most clients describe it as sharp rather than bad, and it fades within seconds. By the third or fourth visit on a steady schedule, the hair comes out finer and the whole thing is noticeably easier.

Legs, arms, face and brows

Legs. Half leg means you pick one half, upper or lower. Most people take the lower half, ankle to knee. Full leg is the whole leg, and ours includes the tops of the feet and the toes.

Arms. A full arm wax takes the whole arm, the hands and the fingers, so there is no odd line at the wrist.

Face. The eyebrow, lip and chin combo is $60 for 30 minutes. We will steer you to it over the full face wax if only your lip and chin are growing much. That advice costs us money on the day, and we give it anyway. See our facial waxing in Seattle page for the full breakdown.

Brows and tint. A brow wax is $25. Add a lash tint and you can skip the mascara. Our eyebrow waxing in Seattle page covers shaping in more detail.

Getting ready, and looking after your skin afterwards

The hair needs to be at least a quarter inch long, roughly a grain of rice. Up to half an inch is ideal. If you shaved four days ago, move the appointment.

Before you come in:

Exfoliate gently one to two days ahead, not the morning of.

Skip tanning and sun on the area.

Do not shave or trim to tidy it up first.

Keep the skin moisturized in the days before.

After your wax, give it 24 to 48 hours before heat, hard workouts, tight clothing, saunas or hot baths. Exfoliate again after two days to keep ingrown hairs down. Our waxing aftercare guide goes into more detail, and if you are still on the fence, here are the benefits of professional waxing over shaving.

We are at 1500 Westlake Ave N #104, Seattle, WA 98109, and parking is genuinely easy. Hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Saturday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Closed Sunday.

Women's waxing FAQ

How much does a Brazilian wax cost in Seattle?

Ours is $80 for a 30-minute appointment. If you rebook within three to five weeks, it drops to $60 as a maintenance appointment.

How long does waxing last?

Three to five weeks for most people, depending on your growth cycle. Staying on schedule is what keeps the results consistent and the regrowth finer.

Is waxing safe for sensitive skin?

For most people, yes. Tell us when you arrive. Our standard soft wax has tea tree oil and aloe vera, and hard wax is available. If your skin is sunburned, cut or irritated on the day, we will reschedule you rather than wax over it.

What should I expect at my first Brazilian?

A short chat about what you want, then the wax itself. A first Brazilian takes close to the full 30 minutes because we go slowly. After that, you get aftercare tips and a suggested date to rebook.

Do you wax men too?

Yes. We wax men as well, and men have their own menu for back, chest, shoulders, neck, nostrils and ears. More answers are on our waxing FAQs page.
