That is the whole pitch, really. We run men's waxing out of a private studio at 1500 Westlake Ave N in South Lake Union, Seattle, and every appointment happens in a closed room with one client at a time. No curtain. No open floor with three other people listening in. Men book with us for back, shoulder, chest, neck, nostril and ear waxing, and the whole visit is quicker than most people expect.
Every wax is done by licensed technicians, and the prices below are the same ones you see when you book.

Men's waxing prices in Seattle
We publish the full men's menu because nobody should have to phone a waxing spa to find out what a chest wax costs. According to our Square booking menu, these are the current prices and times.
The times are the booked slot, not the time you spend on the table. A tidy neck line is often done well inside its half hour.
You can see every other service we offer on our full waxing service menu, including facial waxing in Seattle and brow work.
Back or back and shoulders? Pick the one that matches your hair
If you are booking for the first time, here is our honest opinion.
If your back hair stops at your shoulder blades, book the back wax. It is $75 and you do not need anything more.
If the hair carries up over the top of the shoulders, book the back and shoulder wax at $90. Do not try to save $15 by waxing the back alone. A smooth back that ends in a hairy ridge along the shoulders looks worse than no wax at all, and you will notice it every time you pull a shirt off at the gym.
Shoulders on their own ($30) make sense for men who only get growth up top. Some clients book it between full back appointments too.

Our process for men's back, chest and shoulder waxing
Our approach is simple, and it does not change based on who is on the table.
You come into the room and we talk for a minute first. What have you had waxed before? Did anything go badly? Where does the hair actually grow? That short chat tells us more than any booking note does.
Then we clean the skin and start working in sections. For backs and chests we use soft wax infused with tea tree oil and aloe vera. The tea tree calms the follicle after each strip comes off, and the aloe takes some of the heat out of the skin. Hard wax is there if you ask for it, and on some areas it genuinely is the better call.
We work with the direction of growth, strip against it, and press the skin straight after each pull. That pressure matters more than people think. It is the difference between a sting and a lingering ache.
At the end you get a short aftercare rundown and a suggested rebooking date. No upsell speech at the door.
Ever wondered why the second wax hurts less than the first?
Regular waxing pulls hair from the root, so it grows back finer over time. By your third or fourth visit on a steady schedule, the whole appointment gets shorter and noticeably easier.
Neck, nostril and ear waxing
These are the small services that make a surprising difference in a mirror.
Neck ($30). We clean up the back of the neck under the hairline so the neckline stays tidy between haircuts. It is a quick one.
Nostrils ($30) and ears ($30). Wax takes the visible hair at the opening of the nose and on the outer ear. It is fast, and yes, it makes your eyes water for a second. Booked together as nostrils and ears, it is $60 for a 45-minute slot.
Back and nostrils ($105). For men who want both done in one visit. It saves you a second trip across town, which in Seattle traffic is worth something.
In our experience, nostril waxing is the service men are most nervous about and least bothered by afterwards. It is over in moments, and the result lasts far longer than a trimmer.

How to prepare, and what to do after
The hair needs to be long enough for the wax to grip. At least a quarter inch, roughly the length of a grain of rice, and up to half an inch is ideal. If you shaved your back four days ago, move the appointment.
What happens when the hair is too short?
The wax grabs skin instead of hair, you get a patchy result, and you pay full price for it. That is the most common reason a first wax disappoints someone.
Before you come in:
Exfoliate gently one to two days ahead, not the morning of.
Skip tanning and sun on the area.
Do not shave or trim to tidy it up yourself.
Keep the skin moisturized in the days before.
After your wax, give it 24 to 48 hours before heat, hard workouts, saunas, tight clothing or hot baths. That one catches a lot of men out. A heavy lifting session straight after a back wax is asking for bumps. Exfoliate again after two days to keep ingrown hairs down.

Men's waxing FAQ
How much does men's waxing cost in Seattle?
Our men's services start at $30 for shoulders, neck, nostrils or ears. A full chest wax is $40, a back wax is $75, and back and shoulders together are $90.
How long does a men's back wax last?
Three to five weeks for most people, depending on your growth cycle. Staying on a regular schedule keeps the regrowth finer and the appointments shorter.
Does waxing a man's back hurt?
The first one is uncomfortable, and we will not pretend otherwise. Most clients describe it as sharp rather than bad, and it fades within seconds. It gets easier from the second or third visit.
Can I wax if I have sensitive skin?
Usually, yes. Tell us when you arrive. Our standard soft wax has tea tree oil and aloe vera, and hard wax is available on request. If your skin is sunburned, cut or irritated on the day, we will reschedule you rather than wax over it.
Is the waxing room private?
Yes. Every appointment happens in a closed private room with one client at a time. Nobody else is in the room or waiting behind a curtain.
