Our approach to every appointment
Our approach starts before any wax goes on. You come into the room and we talk for a minute. What have you had done before? What went badly? How much do you want taken off?
That minute matters, because "Brazilian" means slightly different things to different people, and guessing is how clients end up unhappy.
Most of our appointments use a soft wax infused with tea tree oil and aloe vera. Tea tree calms the follicle after the strip comes off. Aloe takes the heat out of the skin. That combination is the reason clients with reactive skin tend to do better here than they expect. Hard wax is available if you ask for it.
We will not talk you into a service you do not need. If you come in asking for a full face wax and only your lip and chin are doing anything, we will say so and book you for the combo instead. That opinion costs us money on the day. It is also why people come back.

Before and after your wax
What happens when the hair is too short?
The wax grips nothing, the strip pulls skin instead of hair, and you pay full price for a patchy result. Hair needs to be at least a quarter inch, roughly the length of a grain of rice. Up to half an inch is ideal. If you shaved four days ago, rebook.
Before you come in, exfoliate gently one to two days ahead, skip tanning and sun on the area, and do not shave or trim to tidy up. Keep the skin moisturized in the days before.
Afterwards, give it 24 to 48 hours before heat, hard workouts, tight clothing, saunas or hot baths. Then exfoliate again after two days to keep ingrown hairs down. Short on time before an event? Our express waxing services in Seattle are built for that.
Come back every three to five weeks and the whole thing gets easier. Regrowth comes in finer, the appointment gets shorter, and it stops stinging the way it did the first time.
